Refusal to recl? what will happen...?

I'm currently in reception at ft. Knox. I've failed the hearing test so I can't go with my MOS, 19D. They say I will either have to recl or if my hearing is so bad I will get medicialy discharged. My question is this, what will happen if I refuse to recl and sign a new contract?
