Why is Wikipedia so unbalanced?

I noticed if I look up an issue on Wikipedia the article will talk about 1 side of the issue, if they even mention the other side of the issue it will have an entire essay for 1 side and just a tiny paragraph for the other side. If you read a normal encyclopedia you get both sides of an issue equally represented. So why are Wikipedia authors not being balanced?
