How are the Executive and Judicial branches connected (Canada)?

I need to create a chart of the three branches of government (Executive, Legislative, and Judicial) and list their roles. And then also need to link all the branches and show how they are connected. I am stuck on the connection between Executive and Judicial, and can you give me some more information on how Judicial and Legislative are connected?
