TI89 Titanium HELP PLEASE!?

ok. when I go in the stats list thing, and i enter values for list1, i can then go to calc>1-var-stats.... thats what gives me the mean and standard deviation and that stuff...well, now in statistics, i have a list1 and list2 and IT WONT LET ME!! it says syntax. Is this in anyway possible...it only lets me do one or the other...everyone else in my cl has a ti84 and theirs works...ahhhh! thanks..-dale
