Why do you make of Gray's comment that Messi couldn't make it in the EPL?

This has gotta be the most ridiculous thing I've heard in a while......David Silva just joint Man City this year and he's their best player by far. He's smaller, weaker and not even as skillful as Messi but still able to perform better than the rest. Fernando Torres took no time at all to adapt to the EPL when he went there in 07, Van Der Vaart who struggled a lil in la Liga is tearing up the EPL. Is this guy for real?
